Pond Plants

Pond Plants
Ponds are becoming a very popular trend. There are many ways that you can have a pond on your property such as a man dug pond, pond built in your deck, pond in your backyard or a pond that is above ground. There are many choices when trying to choose which pond is right for you.
A lot more people are starting to place ponds on their property because they offer a relaxing atmosphere and are inviting. If you want a pond with lots of maintenance you can place a filter, pump and fish in your pond but not everyone has time for fish so they opt for the water ponds with just plants. What kinds of plants are right for the water?
The Waterlily is a beautiful plant that grows well in the water or in a pond. By placing one lily in the pond in the right amount of sun and shade you will have multiple lilies in no time because they will regroup or multiply at the root therefore in no time you will have multiple waterlillies. Waterlillies can be found in a wide arrangement of colors such as yellow, pink, orange and red. These are great plants that can be placed in a pond with or without fish. Frogs also love waterlillies because they can rest on top of the pads.
